Comedian Amy Schumer has given a cryptic update on her marriage to Chris Fischer amid divorce speculation.
In a new Instagram post, the stand-up comedy star, 44, got candid about her weight loss and 45-year-old Fischer’s autism diagnosis—and gave a clue about the health of their relationship. “Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism,” she wrote to her Instagram Stories, with text overlapping a video of their six-year-old son giving a tour of his parents’ bedroom.

The Emmy winner then added, “Fingers crossed we make it through. He’s the best.”
Schumer kicked the rumor mill into overdrive Monday when she posted an image of herself sitting on some stairs in a yellow dress, but without her wedding ring.
On Tuesday, an anonymous source claimed to Page Six that Schumer is working on a “conscious uncoupling” with Fischer. “They’ve been having issues for ages,” the source told the site. “There is zero chance of salvaging the marriage, but Amy also wants to have the most amicable co-parenting relationship possible with Chris, so they are sorting out what will work best.”
She and Fischer married in 2018, with Fischer diagnosed with autism the following year. Last month, a representative for Schumer told People that both of them are “committed to the relationship” but are “privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have.”

Elsewhere in the long, dense caption—some reading down the page and some reading across it—she also wrote openly about weight loss and her health.
“I didn’t lose 30 lbs, I lost 50,” she wrote in the same post, “Not to look hot, which does feel fun and temporary,” but to “survive.”
“I had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy, that can kill you,” she added, referring to her Cushing syndrome diagnosis, which she revealed last year.
Schumer even told followers exactly how she lost the weight: “I’ve had plastic surgery over the years,” she wrote, “and I use Mounarjo.”
