The iconic Latin singer Bad Bunny, 31, is humiliating MAGA star Kid Rock, 55, even before either of them is set to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.
While Trump administration officials have said no one will watch Bad Bunny, it seems the most-streamed artist in history is garnering far more clicks than Kid Rock. According to Google Trends, the Puerto Rican Grammy winner’s halftime show is generating three times as much interest as the “All American Halftime Show.”

“It’s so shameful that they decide to pick somebody that seems to hate America so much,” former Trump campaign chief Corey Lewandowski said about the choice.
Bad Bunny, whose full name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is a native Puerto Rican, meaning he is an American citizen. His insistence on speaking his native language, Spanish, and outspoken criticisms of ICE have caused widespread anger in the MAGA community.
Bad Bunny called the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency out by name in his Grammy acceptance speech last Sunday.
“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say, ‘ICE OUT,’” the singer said while accepting the award for Best Música Urbana album. “We’re not savage. We’re not animals. We’re not aliens. We are humans. And we are Americans.”

Bad Bunny has drawn the ire of the Trump administration, with the president himself planning to boycott the show. “I think the president would much prefer a Kid Rock performance over Bad Bunny,” Karoline Leavitt said.
The Kid Rock-led alternate halftime show is being run by Turning Point USA, a conservative organization cofounded by the late political activist Charlie Kirk. The show was supposed to stream simultaneously on X and YouTube, but the organization announced today that it would be unable to stream on X due to “licensing restrictions.”
It remains to be seen how viewership will compare between the two shows, but last year’s Super Bowl halftime show with Kendrick Lamar garnered 133.5 million viewers.
