A reportedly “agitated” man climbed into the tiger enclosure at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Yorkshire, England on Saturday afternoon, where he was swiftly attacked by one of the resident tigers. The man suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital. He has not yet been publicly identified, and authorities said they were working to notify his family first. Witnesses to the attack said they saw the man climb into the enclosure before being grabbed. Videos of the horrific incident were circulating online Saturday evening, with South Yorkshire Police urging the public not to seek out the footage. “Following the incident, Yorkshire Wildlife Park was evacuated and officers remained on scene carrying out enquiries,” they said. “We are aware of videos circulating online and we would encourage people not to share this distressing footage.” In the footage, a tiger can be seen biting a man in a black hoodie on the back of the neck and the man then appears to point to the animal while pushing it away with his legs. “The tiger remained in the enclosure following the incident and there is no wider risk to the public,” police said. The wildlife park remains closed on Sunday.

Pacific Health Sciences announced this week that it is voluntarily recalling a single lot of its Babies’ Magic Tea brand Baby Sleep Gripe Water after Food and Drug Administration testing detected undeclared alcohols in the product. The alcohols included ethanol, methanol, and isopropanol. “Measured levels were approximately 8.3% ethanol, 0.35% methanol, and 0.48% isopropanol,” the company said in its announcement, which was published on the FDA website. “These substances were not listed on the label. Their presence may pose a risk depending on the amount consumed, and the age and body weight of the person using the product.” The product is packaged in four-fluid-ounce amber bottles inside blue cardboard boxes, and comes with an oral syringe, the company notes. It was distributed via online retailers, including the Secrets of Tea website and Amazon. Only a single lot of the product is impacted by the recall, Pacific Health Sciences emphasized. The lot number, 25122bw, can be found on the bottom and side panel of the blue cardboard boxes, and the product has a “best before” date of December 2028, the company noted.

Whether CBD or THC, most cannabis products (including gummies) are usually associated with stimulating your appetite (aka giving you “the munchies”) and promoting relaxation—and, with some strains, even sleep. If you’ve ever wanted the mood-boosting benefits of cannabis sans the snacking and napping, THCV, an under-the-radar cannabinoid known for its potentially energizing effects, may be just what you’re looking for.
According to TribeTokes, a women-owned cannabis brand, THCV may not only help support focus, energy, and alertness but could also have the opposite effect on appetite as traditional THC. While THC activates receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid system associated with hunger, THCV interacts with these receptors differently and is being studied for its possible appetite-regulating effects. In other words, it may offer a gentle mood and energy lift without the usual snack attacks.

TribeTokes’ THCV-powered Fit & Focused gummies contain zero traditional THC, so you can even take one pre-workout for a subtle energy boost instead of reaching for a sugary energy drink or pricey latte. Each strawberry-flavored gummy is packed with 15 milligrams of THCV, 20 milligrams of CBG (a cannabinoid associated with focus and a balanced mood), and 15 milligrams of CBD to round out the formula. Together, this cannabinoid trifecta supports steady energy, focus, and mood without leaving you feeling jittery, “out of it,” or ready to raid the snack drawer.
Plus, because they’re caffeine-free, you don’t have to worry about the jitters or inevitable crash that can come with another cup of coffee or a standard energy supplement. Whether you take one before a workout or when you need to power through an afternoon slump, the Fit & Focused THCV Gummies are basically the antithesis of your stereotypical cannabis gummy.
RFK Jr.’s Measles Nightmare Hits Staggering New Milestone
More than 4,000 cases of measles have been identified in the United States so far this year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Friday. Most of those cases were among people ages 19 and younger, the agency said, and around 95 percent were among unvaccinated people or those whose vaccination status was unknown. The CDC says two people have died, but that number “is subject to change.” Pennsylvania health officials have confirmed five measles-related deaths. One dose of the MMR vaccine is 93 percent effective, according to the CDC, while the recommended two doses are 97 percent effective. But vaccination rates have been declining. In the 2019-2020 school year, 95.2 percent of kindergarteners were vaccinated; in 2025-2026, that number was 92.4 percent. The U.S. is on track for the highest number of measles cases since 1991, when there were 9,643. Increased vaccinations over the following years resulted in measles being declared eradicated in 2000. This year’s rapid resurgence comes under the leadership of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a vaccine skeptic who last month urged attention not only on deaths due to measles, but “children who are dying or suffering or being injured by vaccine injuries.”
A 20-year-old hiker has died after falling around 200 feet while on a trail in Montana. The man, identified as Callum Cook, died last Friday while on Blackmore Mountain with a friend. According to Gallatin County Sheriff Dan Springer, three search-and-rescue teams, the U.S. Air Force, a Med Flight, and the U.S. Air Force 40th Helicopter Squadron were involved in the rescue operation in the early hours of the morning. Cook was determined to be dead at the scene when the team eventually found his body. Volunteers remained on the summit of Blackmore to help the hiker’s friend, who reported the fall, including helping to pack up the camp and accompanying him while he hiked out. In a statement, Springer offered condolences to Cook’s family and friends. He also thanked the search-and-rescue volunteers and crews for their work on the overnight mission. Tributes were also paid on social media for the 20-year-old. “RIP. This one is bad news all the way around. Family to friends to the hiking buddy that was camping with him,” one Facebook user wrote.

You’re moving more, lifting heavier, and eating better, yet the scale isn’t budging. You could invest in a professional DEXA scan, which analyzes not only your weight but also your lean muscle mass, BMI, and other factors like water retention that may be keeping the scale stagnant. Unfortunately, a DEXA scan can cost up to $300 for one session. Hume Body Pod, on the other hand, is the next best thing—and you can use it in your own bathroom.
It’s not just a smart scale. The Hume Body Pod is a full-body scanner that delivers over 45 metrics like muscle mass, body fat, hydration levels, and metabolic age in under 90 seconds. Standard smart scales just measure your lower body, but the Hume Body Pod directly scans your entire body using clinical-grade technology to deliver readings with 98 percent accuracy compared to a DEXA scan, according to Hume Health.

Thanks to this next-level tech, the Hume Body Pod distinguishes between fat loss, muscle gain, and water fluctuations, so you know whether your efforts are working or if you need to adjust your approach. With the companion app, you can track these trends over time and compare measurements from three, six, and twelve months ago.
The companion app also gives you weekly health reports that show you how things like food, medication, stress, and habits impact your body. Even better, you’ll get personalized insights on what to do to reach your goals, all based on your body’s data.
Mike Ditka, a legendary tight end who later coached the Chicago Bears to a Super Bowl victory, died Friday at 86. His family announced the death in a statement shared by Jarrett Payton, son of former Bears running back Walter Payton. A Pennsylvania native, Ditka joined the Bears in 1961 after playing college football for the University of Pittsburgh. In Chicago, he was named rookie of the year and invited to his first Pro Bowl. He later spent two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles before playing for the Cowboys from 1969 until his retirement in 1972. Fondly dubbed “Da Coach,” he led the Bears to their only Super Bowl win in 1985. Ditka was known for his unfiltered rants, intense press conferences, and tough demeanor. “While the world knew Mike as a Hall of Fame football player, legendary coach, and leader of the Chicago Bears’ Super Bowl XX championship team, we knew him as the heart of our family,” his family’s statement read.

A gig by rock group Journey was temporarily stopped after drummer Deen Castronovo suffered a medical emergency on stage. The concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was just two songs in when the 62-year-old drummer suffered a health scare. The other band members left the stage, and keyboardist Jonathan Cain returned to address the crowd at the BOK Center. “We’re going to see what happens as this progresses,” Cain said. “It’s an unfortunate situation. We’re very sorry. We’re hoping it’s only a delay, but please — I’m sorry. Don’t worry. Have your prayers ready.” About 10 minutes later, guitarist Neal Schon confirmed to the audience that Castronovo had been taken to hospital. Drum tech Steve Toomey filled in for Castronovo, and the band continued the performance. No further details have been shared about Castronovo’s condition, but Schon said later in the show: “This concert is for Deen. I think he’s going to be fine.” Journey singer Arnel Pineda suggested that Castronovo fell ill because of “too much Gatorade,” according to Ultimate Classic Rock. Castronovo is not a founding member of Journey, but first played drums for them from 1998 to 2015 before returning to the group in July 2021.

C.W. Morgan, who played Ghostface killer Billy Loomis’ dad in the 1996 movie Scream, has died at 72. The actor’s daughter, Renata Macfie, posted about his passing on Facebook, along with a photo of the two of them from her childhood. “Losing you has left the biggest hole in my heart… I will carry on our Mulholland drives and our Starbucks outings. I’m grateful and lucky to have had you as my daddy… Rest easy, bubby. Life will never be the same without you and your poorly timed jokes that I inherited from you. Love you endlessly (no more fighting about that anymore, I win),” Macfie wrote. Morgan died on Aug. 30 in Los Angeles County, according to medical examiner records. Although the cause of death hasn’t been announced, the records say he died in a bathroom. An LAPD spokesperson said it appeared to be from natural causes. In Scream, his character Hank Loomis famously prompted Billy’s murder spree by having an affair with main character Sidney Prescott’s mother. Morgan returned in a Scream 3 flashback scene in 2000.
A Frontier Airlines flight attendant tussled with a passenger after she tried to open the plane’s exit door. Footage of the brawl shows a woman in a gray hoodie yelling for staff to open the door after Flight 2052 from New Orleans to Atlanta landed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Wednesday. A flight attendant then wraps his arms around her and pushes her back, while she shouts, “Open the door!” Another passenger yells, “Don’t put your hands on her!” The viral TikTok video is captioned “@Frontier Airlines in ATL COUNT Your Days !!!!!” Temperatures in the Airbus A321’s cabin had allegedly reached unbearable levels after a broken jet bridge trapped passengers on board without air conditioning, the New York Post reported. “After 30 mins of sitting there with no air or water or light, one of the ladies started hyperventilating, passing out, and her body was shaking, completely unresponsive and they still wouldn’t open the door,” the TikTok poster wrote in a comment. The airline issued a statement apologizing for the “inconvenience and discomfort” but said flight attendants were just trying to keep passengers safe after the jet bridge malfunctioned.

One of Charles Manson’s most notorious lackeys has been granted parole. At a hearing on Oct. 6, Patricia Krenwinkel, 78, was preliminarily approved for parole, according to California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation records obtained by People. Krenwinkel has been in lockup since 1971, after she was convicted of seven counts of first-degree murder for her role in the 1969 Tate-LaBianca killings. Among the victims was actress Sharon Tate, best known for playing Jennifer North in the 1967 film adaptation of Valley of the Dolls. Krenwinkel was granted parole in 2022 and 2025, but California Gov. Gavin Newsom reversed both decisions, arguing she had not “developed sufficient insight into the causative factors of her crime,” according to The Guardian. The decision now faces a 120-day review by the state parole board. Newsom could then intervene, with 30 more days to decide whether to block it again, NBC Los Angeles reports. Krenwinkel’s prison record is reportedly squeaky clean, showing she even earned a bachelor’s degree in human services, according to CieloDrive.com. Since Manson family member Susan Atkins died in prison in 2009, Krenwinkel has been California’s longest-serving female inmate.

An AI giant is now telling users to be nice to its chatbot or risk getting booted, with new rules barring “sustained and needless abusive or cruel behavior”. Anthropic, the company behind Claude, updated its usage policy and is giving users just over a month to get any lingering insults out of their systems. The changes take effect Nov. 12, and the update is “meant to apply only in extreme cases, where users repeatedly act cruelly toward our models, with no discernible purpose,” Anthropic said. It “does not apply to common versions of user frustration, pushback, dark creative themes, or model testing and research.” So users can still tell Claude it is wrong, but berating it repeatedly for the sheer pleasure of it could land them in trouble. It’s not clear how Anthropic will tell frustration from gratuitous cruelty, though ending abusive conversations, a power Claude got in August 2025, remains the main enforcement tool. Anthropic says it is “highly uncertain about the potential moral status of Claude and other LLMs.” CEO Dario Amodei has previously said he cannot rule out the possibility that Claude is conscious.
