Colin Jost Mocks Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize Defeat on ‘SNL’

BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME

Jost said giving Trump a peace prize would be like giving one to a Batman villain.

Colin Jost began Weekend Update on this week’s Saturday Night Live by ripping into President Donald Trump’s failure to obtain the Nobel Peace Prize.

Referencing Trump’s deployment of federal troops into Chicago, Jost joked, “I know Trump is upset that he didn’t win the Nobel Peace Prize, but the last guy to send heavily armed men into an American city was Bane from Batman.”

Jost added, “Bane, who was also snubbed for the Peace Prize.”

Throughout his second term, President Trump has openly urged the Nobel Committee to award him the Peace Prize, and his supporters have been outraged to see the award go to a pro-democracy activist instead.

“The actual Nobel Peace Prize was awarded this week to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Carina Machado,” Jost explained.

He joked, “Or, as Fox News reported it, ‘Trump Robbed by Deranged Hispanic.’”

The Update anchor also went after Robert F. Kennedy Jr., recalling to viewers how the health secretary claimed on Thursday that men who were circumcised are more likely to be autistic.

Jost joked that the assertion “isn’t surprising coming from a man who looks like he’s made out of foreskin.”

Referring to the foreskin, co-anchor Michael Che added, “Not mine!”

Che delivered a surprising joke about Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has stood apart from her fellow MAGA Republicans on issues like the Epstein files and the government shutdown.

“President Trump has reportedly become concerned with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene criticizing Republicans on key issues, with Trump asking, ‘What’s going on with Marjorie?’” Che said.

Che told Trump, “A little advice, bro: just let her go. You can’t change her.”

Showing a photoshopped picture of him holding Greene lovingly in his arms, Che added longingly, “God knows I’ve tried.”
